    Amabiko is a lytic subcluster BE2 bacteriophage that infects Streptomyces scabiei — a bacterium causing common scab in potatoes. Its 131,414 bp genome has a GC content of 49.5% and contains 245 putative protein-coding genes, 45 tRNAs, and one tmRNA. Amabiko is closely related to Streptomyces bacteriophage MindFlayer (gene content similarity: 86.5%).

    We present the complete chloroplast genome sequence of Rhodochorton tenue from San Juan Island, Washington. The chloroplast genome of R. tenue is 192,037 bp in length, contains 244 genes, and is similar in content to Acrochaetium secundatum. Rhodochorton tenue is genetically distinct from Rhodochorton purpureum from the North Atlantic Ocean.

    ABSTRACT We present the complete chloroplast genome sequence of an endophytic Ostreobium sp. isolated from a 19th-century coralline red algal specimen from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The chloroplast genome is 84,848 bp in length, contains 114 genes, and has a high level of gene synteny to other Ostreobiaceae.

Bassalto belongs to the cluster B and subcluster B3 mycobacteriophages, based on the nucleotide composition and comparison to known mycobacteriophages.

    Here, we characterized the complete genome of the Siphoviridae BiggityBass, a lytic subcluster DR bacteriophage infecting Gordonia terrae CAG3. Its 63.2-kb genome contains 84 protein-coding genes, of which 40 could be assigned a putative function. BiggityBass is related most closely to AnClar and Yago84 with 90.61% and 90.52% nucleotide identity, respectively.

    ABSTRACT. Here, we report the genomic sequence of Aureococcus anophagefferens virus, assembled into one circular contig from both Nanopore and Illumina reads. The genome is 381,717 bp long with a GC content of 29.1%, which includes an additional 5-kb region between the previously predicted polar ends of the reference genome.
